DIY: Brown Sugar

Do you always run out of brown sugar right before making a batch of cookies or when you need a little sprinkle on oat meal? I was CONSTANTLY having to make extra trips to the store for brown sugar.

One day on one of these very trips, I looked at the ingredients – sugar and molasses.

I now make my own every time!

You need:

1 cup of sugar

1 tablespoon of molasses

Use a fork to mash together until the molasses is evenly distributed.
